Protecting one of the most astonishing landscapes on El Hierro Island, Las Playas Natural Monument features a mighty cliff in the form of a gigantic amphitheater formed by a series of landslides that rocked the island's southeast coast. It is nine kilometers long and more than 1,000 meters high, and containing the famous Bonanza Rock. It is a stunning volcanic outcrop that protrudes from the middle of the sea.
