The Lappeenranta Art Museum is home to a valuable collection of Finnish art from the mid-19th century to the present day. This collection includes works by many famous artists such as Albert Edelfelt, Pekka Halonen, Tiko Salinen, Hjalmar Münsterchelm, and Eero Jarnfeldt, as well as contemporary art collections focusing specifically on art from the Southeast Finland and includes paintings by Lina Lostarinen, Onto Ahjutuli, Anne Tombori, Ermili Tarmo and many others.
