It is one of the largest lakes in Europe, which is located in the capital of Montenegro, Podgorica. The lake is home to more than 280 species of birds, with bird watching being one of the main attractions there. Depending on the time of year (autumn and winter are best for migratory birds), you'll see pelicans, cormorants, terns, and herons. Even if you're not into birdwatching, getting out to the lake in one of the flat-packed boats and seeing the wildlife is a great experience. It is one of the most memorable things when you visit the place.
