Lake Manyara National Park covers a large area and includes grasslands, forests, evergreen swamps and the alkaline lake of the same name that covers two-thirds of the park, and is home to the largest concentration of baboons in the world. In addition to elephants, lions, zebras, buffaloes, and others, it hosts thousands of flamingos during the rainy season. Visitors to this park can also enjoy kayaking, mountain biking and bird watching.
