Formed in the Ice Ages, Lake Hallstatt is one of the most impressive natural phenomena in the Salzkammergut region of Austria, with its pristine blue waters and surrounding green cliffs, located 508 meters above sea level at the foot of the Dachstein mountain range. Three Austrian towns, of which Hallstatt occupies the largest part, and the lake is an ideal place for relaxation and fun water sports.
