There are a number of different sea turtle species that are going extinct (six out of seven, to be exact) due to illegal trade, overfishing, pollution, and many more factors. In order to preserve this wonderful natural treasure, this center was established to care for this amazing animal and introduce these rare species of turtles, as the staff working in it were trained by the World Wide Fund for Nature in appropriate transportation and conservation methods. This active protection and education center's program extends along the 50 km beach west of Bali. It is a place with a lofty purpose and well worth a visit and learn about the animal he seeks to preserve with your family or friends.
