Known as the best place to see wild elephants and gaurs in Thailand, Koi Buri National Park was established as a national park in 1999. It covers 969 square kilometers in the Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, about 85 kilometers southwest of Hua Hin, and is home to the Tenasirim ridge that stretches Over many protected areas in Thailand and Myanmar, its terrain also includes a range of dry and moist evergreen forests.
