It is the largest historic housing complex in وودód, built in the second half of the 19th century on the site of a former mill owned by a local priest. It therefore takes its name from it and it was created by Carol Wilhelm Schiepler, a businessman from the West Rhine region who came to Poland in 1848 and settled in ód a few years later. The complex includes factory buildings, residential properties, schools, hospitals, a fire station, a gas station, as well as parks and gardens.
