The Bani Barka Palace is one of the fortified palaces that were built during the fifteenth century AD using gypsum, lime and stones, which were used in the past to store various grains. The palace was built primarily to provide protection for the Berber communities from the attacks of the Bedouin tribes inhabiting North Africa, It also consists of a group of rooms and storerooms with a strange architectural design and a hall dedicated to hiding valuable materials.
