The Kris Giesa Museum of Ambulance is located in the center of Budapest in the Ambulance Palace which was built on Marko Street in the 1890s. It served as a home for an ambulance station and dispatch center; The Ambulance Palace and Museum was founded by Dr. Kresz Geza who also established the first ambulance organization in Hungary. It is here that visitors learn about the artifacts of ambulance work, as well as the noble and impartial mission of the organization.
