Information about Krakus Mound
It is believed that Krakos Hill dates back to the Neolithic period, where legends consider it to be the burial place of King Krakow. But the archaeological research that has been done since then has decreed that it was built sometime around the 8th century AD, and was once surrounded by four smaller burials (destroyed in the 19th century). The hill is 60 meters wide at its base and 16 meters high at the top, with panoramic views from Kazimierz to the city center to the Podgorica cemetery.
