The Kuzma Street Cemetery is the largest Jewish cemetery in Budapest, Hungary, as well as one of the largest in Europe, and is famous for its monuments and shrines unusual for a Jewish cemetery. The carved human figures and elaborate mausoleums include a variety of artistic styles, most notably Art Nouveau. The cemetery was opened in 1891 by the Budapest Neo-Jewish community, has been a burial place for more than 300,000 people, and still serves the Hungarian Jewish community which is the third largest in Europe.
