One of the gates of the ancient city of Korčula, which dates back to the medieval period, is a huge stone gate located on the western port of the city. It forms a main corridor leading to the center of the old town, which houses many other monuments such as churches, cathedrals, towers and other buildings, in addition to stone fountains and a group of statues and sculptures that surround it. Near the gate there are also many shops, local restaurants and cafes.
