The Knights Square is one of the most prominent landmarks in the city of Pisa, and the second main square of the city after the Miracle Square. This square was the political center of Pisa in the Middle Ages. After the middle of the sixteenth century, the square became the seat of the Knights of St. Stephen, so it was called the Knights Square. Nowadays it is dotted with magnificent old buildings, many cafes, restaurants and shops where everyone can have a great time.
