Kilis Fortress is located in a medieval fortress in central Dalmatia in Croatia. It is a small fortress built by the Illyrian Dalmatian tribe and became a royal castle for many Croatian kings and was the first center of defense of the Croatian borders from the Ottoman attacks, and it was destroyed and restored several times throughout its history. It is an amazing archaeological landmark with a wonderful and very beautiful view, overlooking a landscape of trees and the sea. In this castle, some scenes of the series Game of Thrones were filmed.
