The Ethnological Museum is one of the most informative and interesting museums for people who want to know more about the tribes of Kerala, as the museum is part of the Kerala Institute for Research, Training and Development Studies of Castes and Tribes, and includes a large collection of artefacts, costumes, jewelry, household utensils, nets, traps, wood carvings and agricultural tools. Musical instruments and ceremonial instruments of all tribal communities of Kerala. This museum was established in 1973 and is the first museum of its kind in the state.
