The construction of Kirali Thermal Baths was begun by Arslan, Pasha of Buda, in 1565 and completed by his successor Sokoli Mustafa. Kiraly Thermal Baths did not have a direct hot water base, the Turks built the bath far from the springs to ensure the opportunity to bathe even in the event of a final siege within the castle walls, so its water was supplied at that time and in the present day also from the areas around the present-day Lukac bath.
