Information about King Rama I Monument

The Monument to King Rama I was built in 1996 AD in memory of King Rama I, who is considered one of the most important founders of Buriram. The monument depicts the king wearing a royal-style military uniform, sitting on a huge elephant made of bronze. It is about 9 meters long and 10 meters high, and represents half of the real pilgrimage of the king, and is considered one of the most famous historical monuments in the city.
