Established in 1962 AD as Thailand's first national park, Khao Yai National Park, which is part of the Dong Phayan Khao Yai Forest Complex, is the third largest of its kind in the country, and covers an area of 2,168 square kilometers. Many and impressive wild plants and animals such as deer, otters, jackals, birds and others, in addition to the paths designated for hiking and cycling in the heart of the forest and near the magnificent waterfalls.
