Khalifa Sports City Stadium, or as it is also known as “Isa Town Stadium”, is the most famous stadium in Bahrain. It is the stadium of the Bahraini Al-Najma Football Club. It was opened for the first time in 1968, then it was renovated at a cost of 5.5 million Bahraini dinars and reopened in 2007. It is a multi-use stadium where many diverse sports competitions are held, especially football matches, and the stadium has a very large area capable of accommodating about 20,000 spectators.
