The Mohammed Khalaf House in Manama is considered a living memory of Bahrain, as it was and still is one of the most beautiful houses in the city, and its name is associated with the history of the pearl trade for which Bahrain is famous. The Khalaf family donated their house to become a public cultural edifice that attracts tourists and locals, and through it they learn about the features of the commercial and social life of the Bahraini merchant class.
