Keninji Temple is a Zen Buddhist temple located in the city of Kyoto. It dates back to 1202 AD and is believed to be the oldest Zen temple in the city. The building was burned several times and was later restored. It consists of 7 main buildings used to perform various Buddhist worship and rituals.
