The Kawarau Suspension Bridge was built in the late 1880s over a deep valley, and is approximately 10 floors high. Its designer, Harry Paisley Higginson, won the world's major engineering prize in 1882. This bridge is used for commercial purposes, and it is the first place used to jump rope in the world, in addition to that it provides views that capture the attention of its beauty.
