The Karl or St. Charles Church is a Baroque church located on the south side of Karlsplatz in Vienna. Its impressive sacred building with its impenetrable dome is one of the most important Baroque structures in Vienna, and includes an elevator that rises to the dome so that visitors can have a panoramic view of the famous frescoes of Rotmeier (Rottmayr). Designed as a thank you for the end of the plague, this chapel is a unique architectural combination.
