It is a nature reserve covering part of the southeastern coast of Crimea. It is a small group of land stretching from the southern Crimea to the North Caucasus Mountains located 36 km southwest of the city of Feodosia. It is a prominent tourist destination for nature lovers, as the region is characterized by its biological diversity, including many diverse terrains such as mountains, forests, and beaches. It also includes a bird sanctuary that shelters many species of migratory birds to the peninsula. The reserve is currently managed by the Russian Academy of Sciences and is an exciting research subject for scientific studies.
