Dedicated to honoring Count Ioannis Kapodistrias, the Museum of Kapodistrias is classified as a National Heritage Site. The museum, housed in the Count's country house, traces his storied history on the national and European level as he was a seasoned diplomat, a prominent politician, and the first ruler of Greece. The museum's collection includes a rich digital archive of diplomatic and historical documents from Greece and across Europe, and a number of religious icons, medals, maps, paintings and photographs.
