The ancient city of Kalandris is a six-thousand-year-old settlement located within the borders of the Aydinjik district of Mersin. The ancient city, which was a port and a commercial city that witnessed a great development in the maritime and commercial field during its establishment, has established trade relations with many cities and countries in the Mediterranean basin with the impact of its geographical location, as it included a port, churches, temples and inns multiple, intended for visitors to the city and its merchants. Today, only traces of this architectural masterpiece remain, which bear witness to the ancient history.
