The area of Kakar Mountains National Park, located within the boundaries of Çamlıhemşin District, can be reached via a 16 km highway from the center of the district. The national park covers an area of 51,550 hectares, and is located 18 km from the center of the district, and 68 km from the city center. This park includes glacial lakes, glacial valleys, dam lakes, besides glaciers, the Alps can also be seen. This park is characterized by being an important tourist destination in the region, in terms of photographic safaris and bird watching, because it is an important way to migrate birds in the country, in addition to watching the various plants and flowers, and other masterpieces of the picturesque nature that this park embraces.
