The Jurong Bird Park extends over an area of about twenty hectares west of Singapore, and is the largest of its kind in Asia, and includes more than 5,000 birds of 400 species ranging from parrots to penguins. Among its distinctive features is the waterfall cage, which is one of the largest bird cages in the world, home to more than 600 birds, and includes a 30-meter-high waterfall. There is also a flamingo lake that contains hundreds of these beautiful birds. The garden also includes children's play areas and lovely cafes.
