This 20-hectare park (one hectare equals 10,000 square metres), the green lung of the city, is a relaxing place full of history and culture. It is arranged in three sections, the historical park, large lawns and playground area. Praised by writers and artists, the park has a refuge for botanists and ornithologists, a collection of sculptures, as well as areas set aside for sports and youth activities.
