This spacious showroom, which was established in 1979 AD, extends over several floors off the Islamic College Street behind the Intercontinental Hotel, and it mainly aims to preserve the local heritage and support Jordanian craftsmen and artists by securing local and international marketing channels for their handcrafted products. Today, the exhibition has become a cultural standard for national and heritage identity preserved in unique handicrafts such as carpets, traditional ornaments, embroideries, pottery, woodwork, metalwork, basketry or glass making.
