The John Frost Bridge passes over the Lower Rhine River in the city of Arnhem. It was named after Major General John Frost, the commander of the British forces that participated in the defense of the bridge and the city during World War II. It was reconstructed and opened in 1948. The bridge includes an area A pedestrianized area where tourists can stroll and enjoy a charming view of the Rhine.
