Jude Fountain is a spring in the urban area of Braunschweig, which supplied the Old Town with drinking water for centuries until the late 19th century. This fountain was mentioned as early as 1345 and is thus the oldest evidence of the city's drinking water supply. In the fourteenth century, the spring was surrounded on three sides by a sand-lime brick wall 90 cm thick, which led to the formation of a square pond and the fountain still exists today.
