Jeonju Hyanggyo is a school that was established as early as the 15th century, and expanded during the Jason Dynasty in the year 1700. Several shrines were built in the school, but all of them were destroyed during the Japanese occupation. A large number of Korean thinkers who have greatly influenced Korean civilization have studied in this historical school. The building is characterized by its simple architecture in the traditional Korean style.
