Jeonju Museum of History, opened in 2002, is one of the museums dedicated to preserving Korea's rich history from annihilation and loss. In the museum, visitors will find dozens of permanent exhibitions such as the exhibition of the Donghak Farms Revolution (1894 uprising against colonial Japan), the exhibition of organized popular rebellion against colonialism, and an exhibition dedicated to the independence movement, among many others.
