Information about Jardin du Petit Sablon
Opened in 1890, this beautiful green square is surrounded by a magnificent wrought iron balustrade and decorated with 48 bronze statues representing the ancient crafts that were practiced in Brussels. There are ten statues adorning the back of the park, and it aims to illustrate the sixteenth century in Belgium by the country's famous scholars and laity. In the center, the statues symbolize the war against Spanish tyranny in the 16th century.
