The Jakub Kolas Museum is a leading cultural center in Minsk, in which the history of the life and creative work of the Belarusian language and the history of the founder of Belarusian literature is preserved. The museum is located in the house in which Jacob Kolas lived from 1945-1956 AD. The status of the only Memorial House Museum in Minsk makes it unique among other literary museums in the Belarusian capital. The main chest of the museum, which includes 32,240 objects, consists of the poet's personal belongings, books, manuscripts, documents and associated artwork. The museum was founded in 1956 AD, and opened to visitors in 1956 AD. It organizes thematic and general tours, theatrical trips, educational museum lessons, exhibitions and creative meetings with famous people.
