The Museum of Italian Art was established in 1923 AD and is considered the first European museum in Peru. The museum is located inside a Renaissance-style building, where it includes a collection of sculptures and artworks belonging to more than 1,120 Italian artists, and the museum’s permanent collection includes more than 200 artworks ranging from Sculptures, paintings and decorations documenting Italian art up to the early twentieth century.
