Italy in Miniature is an educational theme park located in the city of Rimini in northern Italy. It was invented by Ivo Rambaldi after visiting similar parks in the rest of Europe. It was opened on July 4, 1970 as a unique amusement park that includes a group of famous Italian attractions. In miniature, instead of focusing only on its action games, it reproduces many of the monuments of Italy, and is thus dedicated to the Italian historical, architectural and cultural heritage able to combine fun with learning.
