The Brandenburg Industrial Museum covers the history of steelmaking in the city. It contains a Siemens Martin furnace, one of the last remaining steelmaking furnaces in Western Europe. Visitors can enter the furnace area wearing the necessary safety clothing and see how steel is made. The new museum building houses a collection of exhibitions covering the history of industry in the city.
