Located in the north of the city of Vinales, the Indian Cave is a popular tourist attraction in the famous Vinales Valley. It was rediscovered in 1920, and derives its name from the fact that it was a pre-colonial dwelling of the Indigenous peoples of the Americas, and is distinguished from other caves as a result of the unique experience it enjoys. Visitors first follow a walking path through the caves for about 200 meters and then take a boat ride for about 400 meters along the beautiful Govi River.
