Independence seaport Museum, or what was previously known as the Philadelphia Maritime Museum, is a museum specializing in American naval history and culture, and was established in 1961 AD. The museum includes a large collection of naval holdings, such as ships, submarines, and others. The museum also owns a large library that preserves many documents and manuscripts that document the history of the most important American ships, especially military ones. The museum also hosts many periodic exhibitions focusing on the maritime history of the United States.
