The Cathedral of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, also known as Vimalagiri or Angatatu Bali cathedral in Kottayam, is a stunning parish cathedral built in the Gothic style, with a 172-foot-high tower and one of the tallest church towers in Kerala. The foundation stone of the cathedral was laid in 1956, and the imposing edifice was completed in 1964.
