Information about Iglica
The Iglesa (Needle) Monument is located near the Centenary Celebration Hall and takes the shape of a needle. Its height was 106 meters, but 10 meters were removed from it, and its height is only 96 meters. This distinctive landmark was built by the Polish Communists to celebrate the restoration of control over the lands that were taken from them after World War II. No trip to the city would be complete without a visit to this majestic monument and a photo-op near it.
