The new Icmeler Mosque was built in 1989 AD in the center of Marmaris. It is a mosque with one dome and one minaret. It came with a simple architectural design with a wooden mihrab inscribed with the most beautiful Islamic motifs, and from the inside the walls were covered with mosaic tiles, which gives the place elegance and originality. Today, the mosque is one of the most important tourist facilities in the city.
