At first glance, the humble Hyuchang Park may look like any other park in the city, but it is a distinctive park steeped in rich history, as it is located next to the campus of Sookmyung University, and covers about 122,245 square meters of green space, and was formerly a royal tomb bearing a number of From Joseon-era princes, princesses, and royals, today, its many paths make it a pleasant walking and picnic destination away from the bustling urban life. The park also houses many facilities that commemorate some of Korea's greatest independence fighters, including the Kim Koo Tomb and Museum ( Kim Koo).
