The Hungarian Museum of Technology, Mining and Transport is located in an old industrial building with a long history. The aim of the museum is to present the history of metallurgy, to preserve collectibles and documents related to industry that played an important role in the development of human civilization. The first permanent exhibition was held in 1960 in the House of Research for The ironworks of Deusger, then a new permanent exhibition opened in 1970 in an original Baroque house in 1770 under Fazola Henrik, the museum's materials have since grown dramatically to include scale model of tools and equipment, as well as folk and applied artworks, Documents and manuscripts on metal construction in Hungary, research materials and a number of documents related to applied art technology.
