Hongnyeong Forest is located in the southwest side of Cheongangsan Mountain, 141 meters high in the eastern part of Seoul, and is home to the royal tomb of Empress Myeongseong. Korean in 1922, and as such, many forest-related studies and research projects are carried out continuously, while the nursery systematically manages up to 2,035 species of trees, plants and plant genetic resources, both domestic and foreign.
