The Holy Rosary Cathedral is the first Catholic church to be established in Taiwan and is famous for its Christmas celebrations that extend throughout Christmas Eve every year. The cathedral belongs to the Romanesque Gothic architectural style and is distinguished by its pink arched windows, its exterior decoration, and the presence of a statue of the Virgin decorated with Chinese inscriptions inside, making it the most beautiful church in Taiwan from the viewpoint of local residents.
