The Franciscan church dedicated to Our Lady of the Snows and the nearby monastery are a valuable architectural heritage of Szeged. Built in the neo-Gothic style, using the remains of the first building from the 12th century, its Baroque interior dates back to the beginning of the 18th century, and includes two statues The Virgin Mary, one carved by a monk named Antal Graff and decorating the main altar, and the other named "Black Mary" and has an original copy in Czestochowa in Poland, and the church and the monastery adjacent to it is the second largest religious complex in Hungary, and they retain their original function to this day this.
